This policy explains what Pathway Law Firm collects when you use this website or send us information about a potential case, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.pathwayfirm.com and to the case review form on this site.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, the details you enter in the case review form (accident type, date, injuries, treatment, insurance and police report answers), any files you upload, and the typed signature and agreement acknowledgment if you sign with us online.
- Information from your device. Standard web server records — IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the site or search that referred you. These are used for security and to keep the site working.
- Call and message records. If you call or text the number on this site, we keep a record of the contact and any notes taken.
How we use it
We use what you send us to evaluate your potential claim, to contact you about it, to open and manage your file if you become a client, and to meet our professional and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We share information only with people who help us do the work: our case management and secure storage providers, email and telephone providers, medical record retrieval and expert services, and, when your case requires it, courts, insurers and opposing parties. These providers are bound to use the information only for the services they provide to us.
Text and call consent
If you check the consent box on the case review form, you agree that we may call and text you about your case at the number you gave us. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling by telling any member of our staff. Withdrawing consent does not affect information we already collected, and it does not end a representation agreement.
Confidentiality and attorney–client privilege
Information you send through this site is treated as confidential. Submitting the form does not by itself create an attorney–client relationship; that begins only when you and the firm both sign a representation agreement. Even before that point, we treat the details of your inquiry as confidential and do not disclose them except as described in this policy.
Uploaded files
Photos, reports, insurance letters and medical records you upload are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled storage. Only firm personnel and the providers described above can retrieve them. You may ask us to delete an upload at any time before you become a client.
How long we keep it
If we open a file for you, we keep your records for the period required by our professional obligations and applicable state law, which is generally at least five years after the matter closes. If we do not take your case, we keep a limited record of the inquiry so we can identify conflicts of interest, and we delete uploaded files within a reasonable period on request.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Your rights
California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, to know what personal information we hold about them, to request a copy, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of other states we practice in may have comparable rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian may contact us about a claim involving a minor.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send information you consider too sensitive to send electronically — call us instead.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
